Are these stickers truly waterproof?‹
Yes. Calendered PVC vinyl with UV gloss laminate creates a sealed surface. The waterproof acrylic adhesive bonds to surfaces and stays bonded through rain, ice, and power washing.
How long do waterproof vinyl stickers last outdoors?‹
Rated 5 years in direct outdoor exposure. Ontario winters, UV radiation, and humidity are included in that rating. Cast vinyl (available on our die-cut page) extends to 7 years if you need longer life.
What surfaces do waterproof stickers stick to?‹
Steel, aluminium, fibreglass, painted metal, and most smooth plastics. For HDPE (e.g., hard hats), use our hard hat sticker product which uses a formulated adhesive rated for polyethylene.
Can I remove waterproof vinyl stickers later?‹
The acrylic adhesive is designed to be permanent for outdoor durability. Heat (hair dryer at 50–60°C) softens the adhesive for cleaner removal, but some residue may remain on porous surfaces.
